Nicole Hair Studio Holds 8 hour Cut-a-Thon to Raise Funds
for the Women in Transition organization.

Haven---Donaylle Nicole Hair Studio in Grand Haven will
hold a 8 hour cut-a-thon beginning 9am-Saturday August 16th
and running through 5pm to raise money for the Women in
transition organization. Haircuts will be available for
$20.00 and chair massage can be enjoyed for $1.00 per minute,
in addition to face painting, foot reflexology, mini manicures
and a raffle for great prizes. 100 % percent of the profits
will go to Women in Transition. The event will be held in
conjunction with sidewalk sales in downtown Grand Haven
in front of the hair studio.
This
is part of Donaylle Nicole's monthly plan to help raise
money for the Women in Transition. For over twenty-seven
years Center for Women in Transition has been in the business
of assisting women and children who are dealing with significant
life challenges resulting from domestic violence, sexual
assault and divorce. Center for Women in Transition has
been opening doors for women and children facing significant
life changes.
Reservations for the Cut-a-thon can be made by calling 616-847-3141
or by stopping by the Studio. Donaylle Nicole will also
be able to accommodate walk-in guests throughout the event.

**UPDATE**
$150 was raised on April 19, 2008 for "Women in Transition"!
Thank you to everyone who participated and Panera Bread for
providing the food. Once
per month our stylists will be choosing loyal clients to
come to our BYOB event to help them learn how to style their
own hair, and give back to the community. Here's how it
works. Bring your styling aids and tools and your stylist
will teach you how to style your hair into the latest looks.
Each event will cost $25.00 and all monies earned will be
donated to women in transition. Plus that day only you will
receive a special discount on hard tools and product so
you can imitate the looks your stylists have perfected.
If you would like to donate any old product or hard tools
you are welcome to do that. Ask your stylist today how you
can be invited.
